Resorts World Cruises Introduces Monthly Thematic Cruises

SINGAPORE - 19 SEPTEMBER 2022 – Resorts World Cruises will be launching a series of thematic cruises onboard the Genting Dream . With a new theme every month, first-time and returning guests will be able to experience new and refreshing vacation experiences at sea. Each thematic cruise is specially designed with a variety of enrichment programs and activities to enhance guests’ overall experience, covering a wide spectrum of fun, unique and popular themes.
One-of-a-kind Celebrations and Experiences
“At Resorts World Cruises, we are taking the celebration up a notch and onto the ship, introducing unique themes that will be refreshed every month for our guests’ pleasure. Each thematic cruise promises to be different; and guests can look forward to a one-of-a-kind experience at sea, complementing the extensive onboard offerings, cuisines and shore excursions that are readily available,” said Mr. Michael Goh, President of Resorts World Cruises, in a press release. “We are also excited to welcome our guests to our weekly Sail-Away Celebration Parties, a memorable moment filled with wonderful performances, music, dance, good vibes and amazing hospitality from our Captain and crew,” he added.
Adding to these thematic cruises will also be the much-anticipated Sail-Away Celebration Parties, which are available at the start of each week for Genting Dream’s Sunday departures.
The Thematic Lineup
Light Meets Night
Kick-starting the thematic cruise lineup is the Light Meets Night thematic cruise. From now until 16 October 2022, guests can discover a new world of bright colours and neon lights. The ship’s Zouk Beach Club will be transformed into a magical outdoor wonderland under the stars with colourful displays and projectors, the perfect setting for that Instagram or Selfie moment. Head over to the Zouk Night Club and be part of the Silent Disco, a unique dance party experience where guests can jam to popular music tracks on LED wireless headphones.
Kids are also in for a real treat with the ‘Glow-in-the-Dark Bouncy Playground’, illuminated under the starry nights and packed with fun-filled games. Guests can also chill out to some of Singapore’s renowned street musicians and buskers with unique dance and light performances, or develop their artisan skills at the onboard Arts and Crafts workshops to create glow-in-the-dark paintings, merchandise and T-Shirts.
Clowning Around Halloween
Subsequently from 16 October – 2 November 2022, celebrate Halloween at sea with Resorts World Cruises’ ‘Clowning Around’ thematic cruises. Get ready for a spooktacular cruise, as the ship turns into a house of horror with special Halloween themed rooms and activities.
Special Diwali Celebration
Celebrate the Festival of Lights onboard the Genting Dream on the Special Diwali Celebration cruise! This thematic cruise has no specified date, but is expected to take place around late-October, during the Diwali holiday period.
The Sensational Voyage
Alternatively, vacationers can chill out and be part of a relaxing journey for the upcoming ‘Sensational Voyage’ thematic cruise from 2 – 13 November 2022, a voyage about finding inner peace and staying fit and healthy. Participate in numerous exercises and meditation classes under the supervision of professionals, while eating healthy with the guidance of onboard nutritionists.
A Jelilo Christmas
In time for the year-end holidays, celebrate A Jelilo Christmas at sea with one of Singapore’s famous homegrown art and toy designers from gagatree. Renowned for their unique art and toy creations, get a glimpse of these magical toys on the ship that will invoke your curiosity and inner childhood. Guests will also have the chance to soak in the Christmas spirit with colourful Christmas decorations on the ship and take part in the Christmas workshops in creating personalized gifts for loved ones.
