Japan's Southern Islands With Diamond Princess | Day 4: Naha (Okinawa), Japan
We have made it to the Southern Islands! Today we are in Naha, on the island of Okinawa!

After two days at sea from Yokohama, we have made it to our first stop: Naha, the capital of Okinawa Prefecture on Okinawa Island.
Arriving At Naha Cruise Terminal
Naha has a dedicated cruise ship terminal to handle passenger vessels both large and small.

Alongside with a beautiful sunrise!
Guests are not required to bring their passports when getting off the ship, but a copy of their passport’s data page is required to go ashore.
Inside the terminal, there are facilities for guests to use, like:
Tourist Information Booth
A map showing nearby attractions and sights.
ATM Machines
And a small memento corner, where gifts and models from the ships that have visited Naha in the past! Do you see any ships you’ve cruised on previously?
The Sights Of Okinawa
Okinawa is a very scenic place, and we took in lots of the local scenery!
The local 7-11 with a Pokémon tie-up.
Notice the monorail tracks on the right? That’s the only rail system in Okinawa.
The rest of the city’s public transportation is found in the form of city buses.
Okinawa Soba
We sampled some Okinawa Soba, a local noodle dish, at the Taira Noodle Factory.

Sail-Away
Mata-ne, Naha!
We sailed out of Naha harbour, towards the sunset.
Evening Entertainment
The ship has various activities and venues to keep guests occupied during the evening.
Like Trivia in the lounges.
Guests who brought their dancing shoes can also visit the Skywalkers Nightclub, located at the aft of the ship. There is also a bar serving up cocktails and other non-alcoholic beverages.
